About Us – Kudo Singapore

Bringing Kudo to Singapore
Kudo Daido Juku Singapore was officially established in 2023, marking the introduction of Kudo to the local martial arts scene. Our journey began when a group of passionate martial artists, inspired by the unique blend of striking and grappling in Kudo, sought to bring this modern Budo discipline to Singapore.

Determined to train under the best, our founding members traveled to Japan, the birthplace of Kudo, to learn directly from the Daido Juku headquarters. Under the guidance of Jukucho
Kenichi Osada and other high-ranking instructors, we immersed ourselves in the philosophy, techniques, and spirit of Kudo. The experience was transformative—not only did we refine our skills, but we also embraced the deeper values of bushido, respect, and continuous self-improvement.

After years of rigorous training and certification, we officially launched Kudo Daido Juku Singapore, becoming an authorized branch dedicated to spreading Kudo’s principles in Singapore. Today, we continue to uphold the legacy of Kudo, providing a structured and dynamic training system for students of all levels.

Who We Are
Kudo Singapore is the official branch of Kudo, a modern mixed martial art that combines Kyokushin Karate, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu. Founded in Japan by Takashi Azuma, Kudo is a full-contact combat sport that emphasizes both striking and grappling techniques, making it one of the most well-rounded martial arts in the world.

As part of the Daido Juku family, we uphold the spirit of traditional budo while embracing modern combat principles, providing a structured and effective training system for self-defense, competition, and personal development.

Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the philosophy of Budo (martial way) through Kudo training, fostering discipline, respect, and resilience in our students. We aim to develop well-rounded martial artists who can apply their skills in real-life situations while maintaining the values of humility, perseverance, and integrity.
